It’s so funny how much friendlier people are out of the state of New York. I’m in Pennsylvania visiting family and every time we’ve gone out, everyone we’ve seen has a smile on their face. And I mean everyone. In New York, people are in such a rush and so stressed out. Of course, not everyone is like that, but their is quite a difference when you’re out of state. It’s pretty refreshing. Don’t get me wrong, I adore New York, it’s just nice to get away for a little while. I would much rather move back to Brooklyn, rather than stay on Long Island, but it is what it is. I do have to admit that I can’t wait to get back next week. I’m having friend withdrawal. Miette goes to her other grandmother’s house the weekend we get back, so I’m taking advantage and having a much needed night out with my closest lovers. can’t wait!
