sometimes i get so overwhelmed with happiness that i could cry. how did i get so lucky? my daughter is perfect. you truly don’t know what love is until you have a child. well, it’s a completely different kind of love, anyway. carrying her in my belly for 9 months, feeling her kick and move about, so perfect. the bond of a mother and child is the most important bond in the world. that child was literally a part of you. you couldn’t understand it unless you experienced it. i just adore her with every fiber of my being. i don’t understand how some moms don’t care about their children. it’s unfathomable. how can that be? all mothers should thank their lucky stars that they were fortunate enough to bring a child into the world. all the pain and stress of pregnancy is so worth it.
